I have been DJing in bars for almost 2 decades, anything can happen in a bar and its how the staff handles the unexpected that really shows you what the bar and staff are all about. After a tremendous and very successful Saturday night at Gin Palace, we were rocking a chilled out Sunday evening, when a group of people came in , immediately dropped over a 100 for shots and started celebrating a birthday. Of course they had a bunch of songs in mind for their party, luckily one of their number was a DJ and after a short conversation I hooked him up to the mixer and he laid down a very cool 30 minute reggae/hip hop set. During the entire time, staff had my back and the entire thing went very smoothly and was fun for all. My deep appreciation for the staff at Gin Palace, real professionals.
